What's included in the room rate
A stay at the lodge is inclusive of full country breakfast, a Welcome Platter on arrival, complementary mini bar in your suite and use of all lodge facilities including  and return Taupō Airport transfers.
Rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and charged on a room, per night basis.
Is GST included?
Accommodation rates are inclusive of a 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Package rates are also inclusive of 15% GST.
Is there complimentary wifi?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi access is available throughout the lodge.
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in time is from 2pm and check-out time is 11am. Where possible, flexibility with early check-in and late check-out will be provided, however, these are unable to be guaranteed.  We would appreciate it, if you let us know if you plan to arrive outside of these times.
What is the lodge's smoking policy?
The lodge has a no-smoking policy in all suites and shared common areas. To smoke or vape, please step outside to the seating area, an ashtray can be provided.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, no, we ask guests to leave their pets at home. We have a couple of small non allergenic  dogs who would welcome your adoption during your stay with us.
What is the payment policy?
A credit card is required to confirm a reservation. All bookings require full prepayment prior to departure. We accept Visa, Mastercard , EFT-POS or direct deposit.
What is the cancellation policy?
Bookings may be cancelled prior to one month from arrival without forfeiture. For cancellations within one month of arrival all monies will be forfeited. No refund can be given in the event of non-arrival, any unused services or unused nights due to flight and/or weather disruption. We recommend you protect yourself with travel insurance.

The official currency of New Zealand is New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
What is the time zone?
Time zone in Taupō , Waikato is on New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) which is 12 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +12).
What language is spoken?
English is one of the the official language of New Zealand.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
It is essential to advise any special dietary needs at the time of reservation. We will do our best to tailor menus accordingly 
What hours are meals usually served?
We serve meals as follows”
Breakfast:      7.30am – 10.00am
(Earlier by prior arrangement)
Dinner:          from 7pm
Pre-dinner drinks & canapés from 6.30pm if dining with us
(We ask guests to give us at least 12 hours’ notice should you wish to purchase an evening meal so we can ensure we have the freshest ingredients. We recommend our two-course dinner with a complimentary local speciality starter. Wine and beers are also provided for $120.00 per person.
Do you have a fitness centre/gym?
Yes, we have a small exercise room on the ground floor which contains a treadmill, a rowing machine and a full weight based mini gym. We also provide a TV and speakers for your favourite music.
Is parking available at the Lodge?
We have ample designated guest parking including a carport should it be raining on your arrival.
Can I purchase a gift certificate?
We can prepare a gift certificate as the ultimate gift for a significant birthday or anniversary, a wedding present, to mark a major achievement or to show appreciation. We are happy to put together a customised package to suit the needs of the recipients.
